&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Giseok Kim founded Spatial Semiology in 2019, a practice grounded in composing spaces through reconfigurable elements. His work spans commercial interiors, exhibition design, scenography, furniture, and objects, extending into various spatial explorations. Rather than constructing and demolishing architecture, he produces elements that assemble and disperse - forms that emerge from the everyday and become signified through acts of revealing rather than concealing. In 2023, he relocated to Antwerp, Belgium, where he began focusing on furniture- and object-based work, beginning with his solo exhibition Proceed (Cour, 2024). He completed a master’s program in INSIDE (Interior Architecture) at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, combining academic research with practical inquiry into spatial practice. In 2025, Giseok Kim participated as exhibition designer for the Korean Pavilion, ‘Little Toad, Little Toad: Unbuilding Pavilion’ (curated by CAC), at the Venice Architecture Biennale.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;김기석은 2019년 공간의 기호들Spatial Semiology을 설립해, 재구성 가능한 요소들로 공간을 구성하는 실천을 기반으로 상업 인테리어, 전시 디자인, 시노그라피, 가구, 오브젝트 등 다양한 공간적 작업을 이어오고 있다. 그는 건축되고 파괴되는 공간이 아닌, 구성되고 흩어지는 기호들을 생산한다. 이러한 기호들은 일상 속에서 발견되며, 감추기보다 ‘드러내기’를 통해 기호화된다. 2023년 벨기에 앤트워프로 이주한 뒤, 개인전 ‘Proceed’(Cour, 2024)를 시작으로 가구와 오브젝트 중심의 작업에 집중하고 있으며, 네덜란드 헤이그 왕립예술대학 INSIDE(Interior Architecture) 석사 과정을 수료하여, 공간에 관한 학문적 연구와 실천을 병행하고 있다. 2025년에는 베니스 건축 비엔날레 한국관 파빌리온 ‘Little Toad, Little Toad: Unbuilding Pavilion’(curated by CAC)에 전시 디자인으로 참여했다.
